'Hannah Montana' Star Emily Osment Addresses Twitter Rumors and Her Birthday

Some fans just can't help but scour the Internet for their favorite actors, in the hopes of eventually meeting them face to face. However, there are also those desperate to be so close to the stars that they create their own “official” webpages claiming to be the actors themselves. Emily Osment, who is best known as Lilly Truscott in Hannah Montana, recently found herself stuck in a similar situation and commented on the issue.
On her MySpace blog, the 17-year-old Osment wrote to her fans to address rumors regarding her social networking accounts. In an earlier post, she said, “Hi myspace friends. Just wanted to let everyone know that no, I do not have a Twitter account. And if I ever GET one, I will make sure to let you know. Once again this is my ONLY official myspace.”
Yesterday, the musician/actress made a follow-up video, talking about possible websites that have popped up from people saying they're the real Emily Osment. She stated on the clip: “I want to point out that this really is my only MySpace. The only one, I don't have more than one. Just one.”
Clearing things up, Osment continued: “Point two - I do not have a Twitter. Have to be honest, not exactly sure what a Twitter is, but I do not have one. Third point, I don't have a Facebook.”
Below, you can see the video Emily posted on her MySpace. In it, she relates how she celebrated her 17th birthday last March 10 – with a party thrown by one of her friends, Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus. Osment also mentioned how being on the set of the Disney Channel hit series is getting busier and busier, but she and her friends can still relax and hang out. Hannah Montana co-star Mitchel Musso even found the time to create a memorable piece of artwork for Emily, commemorating her birthday.
Found on Emily's MySpace is a photo of the birthday art, with the caption “Mitchel wishing me ("emmzy") a happy b'day on the school room's white board. I have the best buds I really do :) ”

Hannah Montana movie could be screened in the White House

There is a chance that "Hannah Montana: The Movie" will be screened in the White House before opening wide in the theaters. The movie's star, Miley Cyrus, reportedly broke out that she has been invited to the White House to screen the movie version of the Disney Channel's popular original series, "Hannah Montana".
About the invitation, 16-year-old Cyrus gushed that it was made by the first daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama, themselves. She, in addition, revealed that the Obama girls asked her when she was doing the Kids' Inaugural Concert back on January 19. "They said they want me to come and show them my new movie," she said. "I would love it. I'm stoked!"
Bringing "Hannah Montana" series to the big screen, "Hannah Montana: The Movie" will resolve around Miley Stewart when her popularity as Hannah Montana starts to take a toll on her life. With her identity as the pop-star persona threatening to take over her life, her father takes her home to Crowley Corners, Tennessee for a dose of reality, forcing her to figure out what's really important in her life.
The comedy movie from Walt Disney Pictures stars Miley Cyrus as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana and is supported by Billy Ray Cyrus, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles, Emily Osment, Tyra Banks, Vanessa Williams and Taylor Swift among others. Directed by Peter Chelsom, it will be debuted in the U.S. theaters on April 10.

'Hannah Montana: The Movie' Is More Mature With More Drama

"Hannah Montana: The Movie" will be different from its original TV series, "Hannah Montana". Discussing the matter with MTV News, one of the movie stars Mitchel Musso shared, "It has a lot more drama. There's a lot of sentimental things [in the script] that came from [Miley Cyrus'] heart and Billy Ray [Cyrus]'s heart, because that's where they live. They shot in all the areas they used to hang out in."
Exposing more about it when being interviewed on the red carpet for the world premiere of "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience", the actor who plays Oliver pointed out, "It's a little bit more mature, but still very family friendly." He further explained the plot, saying "Miley doesn't want to be Hannah Montana. She wants to go back [home] and be her own thing, and falls in love with a boy there and doesn't want to leave."

Teen's wish comes true when she meets Miley Cyrus

Laughter is a common sound in the Farmer house when the family turns on "Hannah Montana."
But last week, the Farmers weren't watching Miley Cyrus from their living room, rather live on the set of her TV show in California. It was 16-year-old Kelly Farmer's wish, and it was made possible thanks to the Children's Wish Foundation.
"She's been through a lot, and to know she was gonna have a special day and her wish come true, it was really cool," says Kelly's dad Jeff.
